Blue Or Green Color Contact Lenses

Are you tired of wearing glasses? That’s how a lot of us feel when we have worn glasses since second grade or third grade. We want something new and different so we no longer have to see the rims in our peripheral vision. How about being able to change your eye color? Since the beginning of color contact lenses individuals with and without the need for corrective lenses have wanted to change their eye color. Today we have even more choice than the blues, greens, and browns from before.

Simply changing your blurred vision is a thing of the past. Now we want to change our eye color to lavenders, jade, cat’s eyes, or even yellow eyes are possible. Color contact lenses are there to enhance our eyes or make them really different. It is fun to see what reaction you may get when wearing colored contacts.

You have a choice the tint purposes available. The blue or green color contact lenses are extremely easy to wear and work from the amount of light your eye receives. In other words the sunlight or other light works to create the effect of changing your eye color by the amount of light the contact allows through the lens. Your eyes especially if you have blue eyes already work off of the amount of light refracted and absorbed by your eye. These simple tints are usually a colorless contact blocking out specific rays of light.

Color contact lenses with an enhancement are for those who are looking to change their eye color with the extreme. Most usually these deep tinted color contact lenses are the exact color you want to change your eye too. They will not be colorless like the others, but the lavender, blue, brown, yellow, red or other color you may change your eye to.

Like all contact lenses you need to have a prescription for color contact lenses you’re your eye doctor. They can also help you find the color contact lenses that you want and give you ideas about the brands available. You may be used to Acuvue or Bausch and Lomb contact lenses, but the color you want may not come in these brands, though that is highly unlikely as they corner the market for contact lenses.

When you purchase color contact lenses you will increase the expense of your contact lenses. While they have reduced the price on colored contact lenses they are still fairly expensive compared to regular contacts. Again your eye doctor can help you find a brand that you can afford even if the range of colors is not as wide.
